Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 June 2026

Sells Domain(“we”, “us”) operates an online marketplace for buying premium domain names, available as a website and a mobile app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account: your name, email, password (stored only as a salted hash — never in plain text), and an optional preset avatar.
  • Offers & orders: when you make an offer or buy, the name, email, amount, and the domain concerned.
  • Transfer details: after a purchase, the destination registrar, your account there, and a preferred contact (email or Telegram) so we can hand over the domain.
  • Payments: we accept cryptocurrency and record the on-chain transaction and the deposit details used to confirm it. We do not collect or store credit-card or bank-account numbers.
  • Security & technical: your IP address and recent sign-in attempts (to detect and block abuse), an essential cookie that keeps you signed in, and limited server logs.
  • Communications: the contents of messages you send us, such as support emails or offer notes.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • operate the marketplace and your account;
  • process offers, orders, payments, and domain transfers;
  • verify your email and keep your account secure;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
  • respond to your requests; and
  • meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. How we share information

We share data only with service providers who help us run the service (cloud hosting, database hosting, and email delivery), under confidentiality. Cryptocurrency payments are recorded on a public blockchain, which is inherently public. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale. We never sell your personal data.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information while your account is active. Transaction records (orders and invoices) are kept as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes even after your account is closed; where possible these are anonymized — de-linked from your profile.

6. Your rights and choices

You can review and update your profile in your account at any time. You can permanently delete your account and personal data from Account → Profile → Delete account; past transaction records are retained in anonymized form as described above. You may also email support@sellsdomain.com to access, correct, or delete your data, or to ask how it is processed.

7. Security

Passwords are stored as salted hashes and traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We rate-limit sign-ins and temporarily lock accounts after repeated failed attempts. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

The service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

We may process and store data on servers located outside your country. By using the service you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
